W Opolu poza wielką dziurą w ziemi jest też wielka góra zwana górką śmierci, z której w jedną stronę jest widok na pętlę autobusową i infrastrukturę rekreacyjną - m.in. miasteczko rowerowe i psi plac zabaw, a z drugiej strony na okna mieszkań na 8 piętrze okolicznych bloków.

6 november 2021 - Opole, ul. Pużaka x Tarnopolska. Zamysł foty był taki, że Solaris ominie słupki i ładnie się wyeksponuje w kadrze, ale widoczny pan ze służby drogowej zadecydował, że obsługa przystanku jest mało ważna - mniej niż malowanie pasów na pobliskim rondzie więc wóz stanął, po czym wykonał manewr skrętu w lewo - a ja zamiast robić zdjęcie przekazałem pasażerom na przystanku za moimi plecami, że mają sobie gonić autobus do widocznego skrzyżowania, bo tu nie przyjedzie.

6 november 2021 - Opole, ul. Piastowska. Opole to ciekawe miasto - gdy byłem w tej okolicy ostatnim razem zostałem poproszony o pomoc w naprawie roweru pani, której łańcuch spadł i wkręcił się między ramę - tym razem tu przyszła pani i chciała pomocy we wniesieniu stolika na drugie piętro.

7 october 2021 - Opole, ulica 1 Maja.Zielona Góra jest największym miastem (nie będącym częścią aglomeracji), które nigdy w taborze nie miało Solarisów. Opole odpadło z tej rywalizacji (a miało drugie miejsce), za to Koszalin wskoczył na pozycję wicelidera tego "wyścigu". A lada chwila dołączą do opolskiego MZK kolejne autobusy z Bolechowa - tym razem elektryczne.

W ogóle to cała okolica nadaje się do wpisania na listę polskiego dziedzictwa 100 lat planowania przestrzeni publicznej, bo jest tutaj wszystko: bezpłciowa zabudowa, droga szutrowa, znaki ostrzegające przed bawiącymi się na ulicy dziećmi... Komunikacja miejska tutaj jednak dotarła. Widoczny kurs zabrał trzy osoby, po czym musiał pokonać ten dość trudny profil, żeby ruszyć ku względnej normalności.

16 december 2011 - Opole, ul. Strzelecka. Kultowy wóz, kultowa wiata i kultowe kolory. Czyli coś ciekawego się da jeszcze wygrzebać z fotograficznego archiwum. Dwa lata później wiata została zamieniona na szklaną, a wóz został wycofany z eksploatacji.
