Other Information | Stagecoach East Midlands was created with the purchase of East Midlands Motor Services in 1989. In 1996 they took over Chesterfield Transport, which has now passed to the operation of Stagecoach Yorkshire. The operations of the former East Midlands area are now known as Stagecoach in Bassetlaw and Stagecoach in Mansfield. The Lincolnshire operations of Stagecoach started in 1993 when municipal operator Grimsby-Cleethorpes Transport was bought by Stagecoach. Stagecoach Lincolnshire came into existence in 2005 when Stagecoach acquired the Traction Group, with Lincolnshire Road Car falling under the operation of Stagecoach East Midlands. The Grimsby and Cleethorpes operation is also managed by this part of the company. It is now branded as Stagecoach in Lincolnshire. Stagecoach in Hull was formed in 1994 with the takeover of Cleveland Transport. At the time they also owned Kingston upon Hull City Transport.
