7 september 2008 - Gonnheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. One of the first trips in the newly-restored RHB interurban car 1122 of 1939, here seen in the vineyards which border the tracks from Bad Durheim. Designed to draw trailers, this is an extremely fast car!

7 september 2008 - Ellerstadt Ost, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. From its very fast double track, the RHB suddenly plunges into the gutter of a small village street on single track, like a country tramway. This is even named 'Railway Street'. Historic car 1122 runs towards Bad Durkheim on a special trip.

7 september 2008 - Ludwigshafen (DE) – Ludwigstrasse. Car 1122 again, this time in Ludwigshafen city centre. I hope people who live there won’t mind me saying this, but the tram was the nicest thing there……..
