29 march 2009 - Bruxelles (BE) – Rue Royale. A 2000-class tram. These frequently come off the track, so they are now limited to 50km/hour maximum speed. The same type of tram is used by De Lijn, but on metre gauge and flat ground – in Bruxelles, they have been a real problem and will be withdrawn when enough new Bombardier cars arrive. Does anywhere in Poland want some cheap, low-floor trams?

2 may 2014 - Bruksela, Avenue de la Reine/Koninginnelaan. W tle Église Notre-Dame de Laeken. Te wagony widziałem tylko 2 maja (jedyny dzień powszedni) i tylko na północy miasta. Nie wiem, mają jakiś feler, że nie wyjeżdżają jak nie są niezbędne?

28 march 2012 - Brussel/Bruxelles (BE) – Avenue de Pesage. One of the unique Bombardier Type 2000 trams which run on several routes in Bruxelles. These trams have unusual ‘maximum-traction’ bogies that have always been a big problem (when the track reaches a corner, the tram wants to go straight ahead, with predictable results) so they are limited to certain routes only and are subject to a maximum speed limit of 50km/hour. I believe that STIB would get rid of them, if they could, even though they have only reached about half of their planned life.

8 june 2009 - Bruxelles (BE) – Rue de la Regence. From this angle, you can see the unusual wheels on these trams. Unless the rails are perfect, when the tram reaches a corner, the wheels try to go in different directions – not a good thing. It would be interesting to try one of these on the tracks in Silesia – lots of work for the breakdown men!

10 july 2010 - Bruksela, Quatre Brasstraat. Wagon-sauna wysadził chwilę wcześniej pasażerów na pl. Luizy i za chwilę będzie wracał w kierunku Herrmann-Debroux. W tle widzimy pomnik belgijskiej piechoty, przypominający mi nieco "Czterech Śpiących" z placu Wileńskiego w Warszawie ;-)

8 august 2012 - Bruksela, Boulevard du Souveran/Vorstlaan. Możliwe, że zdjęcie trochę leci na bok, ale jakbym jeszcze bardziej próbował prostować to bym uciął tramwaj. Tak to jest jak się zdjęcia robi w akcie desperacji. ;) Ten akt nawet przydatny, bo mimo tego, że byłem w tym miejscu kilkakrotnie jeszcze to tylko tego dnia próbowałem tutaj jakieś zdjęcia robić. Z mizernym skutkiem. ;) Na usprawiedliwienie fakt, że miejsce jest bardzo fajne - nie czuć tego, że to droga dwujezdniowa.

10 july 2010 - Bruksela, Louizalaan - przystanek Stefaniaplein. Linii tramwajowych jest w Brukseli tylko 19, ale zakres obejmuje wybrane liczby ze zbioru 3 - 97. Kiedys dziur w numeracji bylo zdecydowanie mniej, np. w 1935 r. kursowalo 67 linii o numerach od 2 do 99.

1 may 2014 - Bruxelles/Brussel, Rue de la Brasserie: One of the T2000-series of trams built by Bombardier and now being replaced by newer models. Thse trams caused great problems when they were first introduced, as they kept falling off the track because their non-standard `maximum traction` bogies used very small wheels on their leading axles. They eventually had to be confined to certain routes without any sharp bends, after which time they became a little more reliable. They weren`t much liked. however.

8 june 2009 - Bruxelles (BE) – Churchill. A ‘shrink-wrapped’ 2000 Class tram. Not very nice to travel in, as you can hardly see out of the windows. The unusual wheel design of these trams causes trouble on corners, so they are restricted to 50km/hour maximum and lines that are fairly straight.
